Description

Petrol Station is a microcosm of the Nigerian situation. It satirically mimics the inglorious days of petroleum scarcity that bedevilled Nigeria. This imbroglio has been producing millionaires whose role as black marketers is nurturing the scarcity through hoarding and other sharp practices. Motorist are been forced to spend their nights at petrol stations queuing for fuel.

The book also highlights the tragedy of Alhaji Bushasha popularly called Garkuwa, a petrol baron turned politician and his companions in crime, who eventually were sent to an early grave by callousness and greed.

Petrol Station is food for thought for the wise.
