Description
Jesus of Gold Crown indicts Christians who neither live according to the tenets of their faith nor practice the love of Jesus. It exposes the deceit, hypocrisy, and evil of such professing Christians and avers that even prostitutes and the like, by some of their deeds, turn out to be more compassionate to the poor and the less privileged. The play attempts to pursue the true essence of Jesus and ardently posits that those who serve the Lord with their lips should disappear and that Christ’s teaching becomes, not a decorative article, but the basis of our living.
